Design a Custom BoardAdjustable buck converter IC with 4.5V to 40V input range and 2A output current capability. Features 150kHz fixed switching frequency, 1.23V to 37V adjustable output, 100% maximum duty cycle, and 1.5V minimum dropout voltage. Includes internal compensation, current limiting, thermal shutdown, and TTL-compatible enable pin for simple step-down power supply applications.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
