Design a Custom BoardCMOS step-down linear voltage regulator providing 3.3V output at up to 250mA with low 6.0μA quiescent current and low dropout voltage. Features high ripple rejection, overcurrent/short-circuit protection, and ±2.5% output accuracy. Ideal for battery-powered applications including portable electronics, cordless phones, and automotive systems requiring extended runtime.
SOT-89-3 is too small and has leads too close together to hand-solder reliably or plug into breadboards. A breakout board spaces the three pins to standard 0.1" pitch, making it compatible with solderless prototyping and eliminating the need for fine-pitch soldering skills. Essential for rapid development with voltage regulators, transistors, and other common three-terminal devices.
