Design a Custom BoardCMOS step-down voltage regulator with fixed 2.5V output, 100mA load capacity, and ultra-low 6µA quiescent current. Features ±2.5% output accuracy, 8V maximum input, and integrated overcurrent/short-circuit protection. Ideal for battery-powered applications requiring extended runtime and minimal dropout voltage.
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
