Design a Custom BoardSynchronous buck converter with adjustable output voltage from 0.8V to 5.5V and 3A continuous current capability. Operates from 4.5V to 18V input with integrated high and low-side MOSFETs. Suitable for automotive, industrial, and consumer power supply applications requiring compact form factor and high efficiency.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
