Low-power analog temperature sensor with ±2.5°C accuracy from -40°C to +150°C. Features 10 mV/°C output slope, 500 mV offset at 0°C, and operates from 2.3V to 5.5V supply. Typical quiescent current of 9 µA and strong 500 µA output driver make it suitable for automotive, industrial, and telecom applications as a cost-effective thermistor alternative.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
