Precision programmable shunt regulator with 0.5% reference voltage tolerance and adjustable output from 2.5V to 36V. Provides excellent active output circuitry with 0.2Ω typical output impedance and 1-100mA sink current capability. Ideal for on-board regulation, adjustable power supplies, and switching power supply applications across industrial and automotive temperature ranges.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
