Three-terminal adjustable shunt voltage reference providing a precise 1.24V output with excellent thermal stability and low dynamic impedance. Supports sink currents from 0.1mA to 100mA with minimal temperature drift (16mV over 0-70°C). Ideal for precision shunt regulators, high-current current limiters, and precision feedback circuits in low-cost applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
