High-speed CAN transceiver for automotive applications, interfacing microcontroller CAN protocol controllers with physical two-wire CAN bus. Supports up to 1 Mbit/s data rates with ISO 11898-2:2024 compliance, optimized for 12V systems with excellent EMC performance. Available in 8-SO package with variants supporting 3.3V to 5V logic levels.

Why does this need a breakout?
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
