Design a Custom BoardHigh-speed CAN transceiver for automotive applications operating up to 1 MBaud, compliant with ISO 11898 standard. Provides differential transmit and receive capability between CAN controller and physical bus with low EMI/EME performance. Features low standby current (5-15µA), remote wake-up capability, ±6kV ESD protection on bus pins, and thermal protection suitable for nodes requiring power-down modes.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
