Why does this need a breakout?
The 0.65mm pitch and narrow 5.3mm width make hand soldering this SSOP-20 extremely difficult without specialized equipment. A breakout board routes pins to standard 2.54mm headers, enabling breadboard prototyping and eliminating microscopic soldering. Ideal for evaluating microcontrollers and peripheral ICs during development.
