Design a Custom BoardHalf-duplex RS-485/RS-422 differential line transceiver operating from 3.3V supply with ±15kV ESD protection. Features failsafe receiver, thermal shutdown, and supports up to 256 devices on a single bus with 1/8 load impedance. Suitable for industrial control, building automation, and instrumentation applications.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
