IC TRANSCEIVER RS-485 3.3V/5V 8SOIC
Texas Instruments

Bypass caps, pull-ups, strapping resistors, custom silkscreen & more
Design a Custom BoardHalf-duplex RS-485 differential line transceiver with integrated receiver and driver. Operates at 3.3V or 5V logic levels with data rates to 250kbps. Features low-power shutdown mode and slew-rate limited output. Commonly used in industrial automation, building control systems, and multi-node serial communications networks.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
