Design a Custom BoardHalf-duplex CAN bus transceiver supporting ISO 11898 standard with integrated 120Ω termination resistor. Operates from 3.3V to 5V supply with integrated ESD protection and thermal shutdown. Commonly used in automotive, industrial, and embedded systems for reliable CAN communication over twisted-pair cables.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
