Integrates frequency foldback to 26 kHz at light load, skip-cycle operation, adjustable ramp compensation, and timer-based auto-recovery short-circuit protection. Rated for up to 28V VCC supply; typical applications include AC-DC converters for TVs, set-top boxes, and offline notebook adapters.

Why does this need a breakout?
TSOP-6 packages like power MOSFETs and high-side switches are difficult to hand-solder due to 0.95mm pitch and tiny leads. A breakout board brings these pins to standard 2.54mm spacing for breadboard prototyping and reliable soldering, eliminating fragile trace connections and enabling rapid circuit testing.
