Microcontroller supervisory circuit that holds microprocessors in reset until supply voltage stabilizes at the threshold voltage. Features precision voltage monitoring with ±75mV accuracy, 350ms reset hold time, open-drain output, and 45µA typical operating current. Protects systems from brown-out conditions across 1.0V to 5.5V supply range.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
