Features 1.5A output switch, 2% reference accuracy, and adjustable output voltage via external resistors. Operates from 3V to 40V input with up to 100kHz switching frequency and 2.5mA quiescent current, suitable for switching power supply designs with minimal external components.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
