Bypass caps, pull-ups, strapping resistors, custom silkscreen & more
Design a Custom BoardThe MAX809 is a microprocessor reset supervisor that monitors power supply voltage and generates a low reset signal when voltage drops below the programmed threshold of 2.63V. It features a push-pull output stage, operates down to 1.0V input, and includes transient filtering to prevent false triggers. Designed for industrial temperature range (-40°C to +85°C), it's commonly used in computers, servers, embedded systems, and consumer electronics.
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
