8-channel relay driver IC with SPI-compatible serial interface for controlling +3.3V/+5V non-latching or dual-coil-latching relays. Each output features 2Ω on-resistance and guarantees 70mA minimum sink current with built-in inductive kickback protection. Ideal for telecommunications, industrial equipment, and ATE applications requiring low-power relay control with SET/RESET functions.

Why does this need a breakout?
Hand-soldering 0.65mm pitch leads is tedious and error-prone; a breakout board with standard 0.1" headers lets you prototype I/O expanders and logic gates on breadboards without a reflow oven. The compact SSOP package also becomes DIP-friendly, eliminating jumper spaghetti and reducing assembly mistakes during development cycles.
