Design a Custom Board1 Kbit electrically erasable programmable memory device with MICROWIRE serial interface. Configurable as 128 x 8-bit or 64 x 16-bit organization. Operates from 2.5V to 5.5V at up to 2 MHz clock frequency with 5 ms byte/page write cycles and 4+ million write cycle endurance. Suitable for configuration storage, calibration data, and embedded system parameters in automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
