4-Kbit Serial Presence Detect (SPD) EEPROM compatible with JEDEC EE1004 specification. Features SMBus I2C interface up to 1 MHz, organized as two 256-byte pages with block-level write protection. Supports byte and page writes within 5 ms, rated for 4M+ cycles and 200-year data retention. Operates from 1.7V to 3.6V.

Why does this need a breakout?
Hand-soldering 0.5mm pitch pads is extremely difficult without specialized equipment, and the exposed leads cannot access a breadboard. A breakout board with standard 0.1" headers lets you prototype high-voltage DC-DC converters like the MAX15062 without requiring reflow soldering or custom PCBs, making rapid iteration practical for industrial and sensor applications.
