Design a Custom Board16-Kbit I2C serial EEPROM organized as 2K×8 bits with page write capability (16-byte pages). Supports 100/400 kHz I2C bus speeds with byte/page write times of 5ms. Supply voltage range 1.8–5.5V (M24C16-R variant). Offers 4M+ write cycles, 200-year data retention, and integrated write protection. Suitable for embedded systems, microcontroller boards, and non-volatile configuration storage.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
