Design a Custom Board8-Kbit serial I²C EEPROM organized as 1K×8 bits with 16-byte page writes. Supports 100kHz and 400kHz I²C bus modes, 2.5-5.5V supply, and byte/page write cycles within 5ms. Features write protection, >4M write cycles, and 200-year data retention. Operates -40°C to +85°C.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
