Design a Custom Board2-Kbit (256-byte) I2C-compatible EEPROM organized as 256×8 bits with 16-byte page size. Operates at 100/400 kHz I2C speeds over 1.8–5.5 V supply range with fast 5 ms write cycles, 4M+ write cycles, and 200-year data retention. Includes hardware write protection and enhanced ESD/latch-up protection.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
