IC BOOST CONVERTER 90V APD MONITOR 16QFN

Bypass caps, pull-ups, strapping resistors, custom silkscreen & more
Design a Custom BoardThe LT3482 is a fixed-frequency current-mode boost converter with integrated voltage doubler designed for avalanche photodiode (APD) biasing in optical receivers. It produces up to 90V output from 2.5V to 16V input, featuring a high-side APD current monitor with ±10% accuracy and integrated Schottky diodes. Ideal for fiber optic networks, optical modules, and PIN diode bias applications requiring compact, low-noise power delivery.
This 3×3mm QFN-16 with 0.5mm pitch requires a breakout board to prototype effectively. The fine pitch makes hand soldering nearly impossible, and the hidden pads underneath prevent breadboard use entirely. A breakout board converts the package to through-hole or larger pads, enabling rapid iteration with wideband amplifiers, motor drivers, and power management ICs that typically use this footprint.
