Design a Custom Board6-axis inertial measurement unit integrating a 3D accelerometer (±2/±4/±8/±16 g) and 3D gyroscope (±125/±250/±500/±1000/±2000 dps) with I2C/SPI interfaces. Operates at 0.65 mA in high-performance mode with always-on low-power capability, 4 kB FIFO, and embedded pedometer/motion detection. Ideal for motion tracking, gesture recognition, indoor navigation, and IoT applications.
This 3x5mm LGA-14 package requires reflow soldering and features 0.8mm pitch pads underneath the component, making it impossible to breadboard directly or hand-solder reliably. A breakout board exposes all 14 pins to standard 2.54mm headers, enabling prototyping with I2C/SPI accelerometer and magnetometer modules while eliminating the need for surface-mount assembly skills.
