IC CHARGE PUMP VOLTAGE INVERTER 8SOIC
Texas Instruments

Bypass caps, pull-ups, strapping resistors, custom silkscreen & more
Design a Custom BoardCMOS charge pump voltage converter that generates a negative supply voltage from a positive input. Converts +5V to approximately -5V output with minimal external components. Commonly used in analog circuits requiring dual supplies, op-amp biasing, and mixed-signal applications where negative rails are needed without a dedicated negative supply.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
