Non-synchronous buck DC/DC converter with 6V to 100V input range and integrated 100V/0.25Ω high-side MOSFET delivering 3.5A output current. Features constant on-time control architecture, 50ns minimum on-time for high step-down ratios, ultra-low 3.1µA shutdown quiescent current, and comprehensive protection including peak current limiting, UVLO, and thermal shutdown. Designed for industrial, automotive, and powertrain applications requiring wide input voltage regulation with minimal EMI.

Why does this need a breakout?
8-pin SOIC with exposed pad is difficult to hand-solder reliably due to tight 1.27mm pitch and thermal management requirements. A breakout board brings pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping while providing proper pad routing and thermal dissipation for audio amplifiers and gate drivers.
