Features 0.01% line regulation, 0.1% load regulation, built-in current limiting, and thermal overload protection. Ideal for power supplies, battery chargers, and industrial control applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-223 three-pin regulators and transistors are difficult to hand-solder due to tight 1.5mm pitch and heat-sinking requirements. A breakout board brings standard 0.1" header spacing, eliminating soldering challenges and enabling immediate breadboard prototyping without rework or micro-soldering tools.
