Features very low quiescent current (max 100 µA, 1 µA shutdown), low noise output, and ±2% accuracy at 25 °C. Includes logic-controlled shutdown, current limiting, and thermal protection. Ideal for battery-powered portable devices.

Why does this need a breakout?
This 0.4mm pitch DFN-6 package is impossible to hand solder reliably without specialized equipment. A breakout board routes the tiny pads to standard 2.54mm headers, enabling breadboard prototyping of LDO regulators and similar ICs that would otherwise require reflow soldering or rework stations.
