Dual-channel photocoupler integrating infrared LEDs optically coupled to high-speed photodetector logic gates with open-collector outputs. Provides 3750V RMS isolation voltage and supports 10 Mbit/s data rates with 10 kV/μs common-mode transient immunity. Ideal for ground loop elimination, logic level translation, and signal isolation in switching power supplies and data transmission applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
