Why does this need a breakout?
The 0.65mm pitch on this 16-lead TSSOP makes hand soldering difficult and breadboard prototyping impossible. A breakout board breaks out all pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling quick testing of drivers, shift registers, and logic ICs without requiring reflow soldering or custom PCB layouts.
