Ratiometric linear Hall-effect magnetic sensor operating from 3.3V or 5V supplies with analog voltage output proportional to magnetic flux density. The A1 variant provides 100mV/mT sensitivity across ±21mT range with temperature compensation and 20kHz bandwidth. Suitable for position sensing, robotics, current sensing, and angle encoding applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
