Design a Custom Board16-kilobit I2C serial EEPROM organized as 128 pages of 16 bytes, supporting standard (100 kHz) and fast (400 kHz) I2C protocols. Features 16-byte page write buffer, hardware write protection, and 1.7V to 5.5V supply range. Rated for over 1,000,000 program/erase cycles with 100-year data retention, suitable for configuration storage and nonvolatile memory applications.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
