6-axis inertial measurement unit integrating a 16-bit triaxial accelerometer (±2g to ±16g) and 16-bit triaxial gyroscope (±125dps to ±2000dps) with intelligent motion-triggered interrupts. Features configurable I2C and 10MHz SPI interfaces, 2KB FIFO, low power consumption (685µA typical), and advanced on-chip motion detection. Why does this need a breakout?

This tiny 0.5mm pitch LGA package demands a breakout board for practical prototyping—hand soldering 14 pads beneath a 3×2.5mm body is nearly impossible for most makers. A breakout brings the I2C/SPI pins to standard headers, enabling breadboard integration and reliable prototyping of Bosch inertial sensors without specialized equipment.
