Low-voltage three-terminal adjustable precision shunt regulator with 0.5% tolerance. Output voltage programmable from 1.24V to 18V using two external resistors. Features low temperature coefficient (20ppm/°C typical), low output impedance (0.05Ω), and sink current capability from 0.1mA to 100mA. Ideal for switching power supplies, chargers, and voltage regulation circuits.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
