ATtiny44 is a low-power 8-bit AVR microcontroller with 4KB flash memory, 256 bytes SRAM, and 256 bytes EEPROM. It features 12 I/O lines, 10-bit ADC with 8 single-ended and 12 differential channels, dual timers with PWM, and operates at up to 20 MHz. Suitable for cost-sensitive embedded applications requiring minimal power consumption and compact form factor.

Why does this need a breakout?
Manual soldering of 1.27mm pitch SOIC-14 leads is tedious and error-prone; a breakout board eliminates this with pre-soldered pads and convenient 0.1-inch headers for breadboard prototyping. Ideal for developing capacitive touch sensor applications or other logic circuits without the fine-pitch assembly hassle.
