Design a Custom BoardThe AT93C66B is a 4-kilobit three-wire serial EEPROM available in 512x8 or 256x16 organization. It operates from 1.7V to 5.5V with a 2 MHz clock rate and supports self-timed write cycles completing within 5 milliseconds. Rated for 1 million write cycles and 100-year data retention, this industrial-grade device is ideal for embedded systems requiring non-volatile configuration storage.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
