Features write-protect pin, 32-byte page write capability, and ultra-low power consumption (3mA active, 6µA standby) with 1 million write cycle endurance and 100-year data retention.

Why does this need a breakout?
The 0.65mm pitch and compact 4.4×3mm form factor make hand soldering error-prone and require fine-pitch rework skills. A breakout board brings these pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating soldering difficulty while preserving direct access to op-amp or memory functionality without adapters.
