Design a Custom Board64-kilobit serial EEPROM organized as 8,192 x 8 bits with I2C-compatible 2-wire interface. Operates from 1.7V to 5.5V with 1MHz clock speed at 2.5V or higher. Features 32-byte page writes, 5ms write cycle time, 1 million write cycle endurance, and 100-year data retention. Suitable for industrial and commercial applications requiring low-power non-volatile memory.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
