Design a Custom Board4-Kbit serial EEPROM with I2C/two-wire interface supporting standard (100 kHz), fast (400 kHz), and FM+ (1 MHz) modes. Operates from 1.7V to 5.5V with ultra-low current consumption (3 mA active, 6 µA standby). Features 16-byte page writes, write protection, 1M cycle endurance, and 100-year data retention. Ideal for configuration storage, calibration data, and system identification in embedded applications.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
