Design a Custom Board2-Kbit I²C-compatible serial EEPROM organized as 256 x 8 bytes with support for standard (100 kHz), fast (400 kHz), and Fast Mode Plus (1 MHz) operation. Features wide supply voltage range (1.7V to 5.5V), ultra-low standby current (6 µA), write protection, and 1,000,000 write cycle endurance with 100-year data retention. Ideal for configuration storage, calibration data, and small-capacity non-volatile memory applications.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
