Micropower voltage supervisor IC that monitors +5V supply rails and asserts an active-low RESET output when VCC drops below the 5.0V threshold. Features 7µA typical supply current, 240ms minimum reset pulse width, and requires no external components. Ideal for microprocessor and microcontroller power supply monitoring in portable and battery-powered equipment.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
