CURRENT SENSOR HALL 10A 8-SOIC

Bypass caps, pull-ups, strapping resistors, custom silkscreen & more
Design a Custom BoardThe ACS71240 is a precision Hall-effect current sensor IC for measuring AC or DC currents up to 10A in industrial, automotive, and communications applications. It integrates a low-offset linear Hall sensor with a copper conduction path, providing accurate ratiometric output with integrated overcurrent detection and digital temperature compensation. The device offers excellent noise rejection through differential sensing and ultrafast 1.5µs fault response, making it ideal for high-reliability current monitoring and overcurrent protection circuits.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
