Single-channel optoisolator with 3.75kV isolation voltage rating in a 4-lead SO package. Integrates a photodiode input stage with a phototransistor output stage for galvanic isolation of low-level signals. Why does this need a breakout?
This Toshiba optocoupler's 1.27mm pitch and compact 4.4×3.6mm footprint make hand-soldering impractical and breadboard use impossible. A breakout board converts the SMD package to through-hole pins or larger pads, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections in isolation and control circuits without reflow equipment.
