Design a Custom BoardThe 74VHC14 is a high-speed CMOS hex Schmitt inverter with six independent inverting gates featuring input hysteresis for noise immunity. Operating at 5.5 ns propagation delay with low power consumption, it transforms slow-changing signals into clean digital outputs. Ideal for signal conditioning, noise filtering, and interfacing between 5V and 3V logic systems.
The 0.65mm pitch on this 14-pin package makes hand soldering tedious and error-prone without magnification and fine tools. A breakout board routes each pin to standard 0.1-inch headers, enabling breadboard prototyping and simplifying connections for LIN transceivers, ADCs, digital potentiometers, and microcontrollers that typically come in this footprint.
