Design a Custom Board8-bit shift register with integrated storage latch and 3-state outputs. Converts serial data to parallel using independent shift clock (SCK) and register clock (RCK) inputs. Operates at up to 55 MHz with low power CMOS technology and supports 2V to 6V supply range. Commonly used for serial-to-parallel data conversion, LED matrix drivers, and I/O expansion.
The 1.27mm pin pitch on this 16-pin package makes hand-soldering impractical and breadboard mounting impossible. A breakout board brings the pins to standard 2.54mm spacing, enabling quick prototyping of RS-232/RS-485 transceivers, ADCs, and line drivers without requiring surface-mount soldering skills or PCB fabrication.
