8-bit bidirectional level translator with dual independent supply inputs (VCC(A) and VCC(B)) supporting voltages from 0.8V to 3.6V. Features configurable direction control (DIR), output enable (OE), and integrated bus-hold circuitry. Suitable for translating between any low-voltage logic domains with data rates up to 380 Mbit/s and integrated IOFF circuitry for power-down protection.

Why does this need a breakout?
Hand-soldering 0.65mm pitch traces is difficult without proper equipment; a breakout board with standard 0.1in header spacing lets you breadboard-prototype and test these compact devices easily. Commonly used for I2C/SMBus I/O expanders and mixed-signal microcontrollers, this breakout eliminates fine-pitch soldering and allows rapid iteration during development.
