PWM CONTROLLER CURRENT MODE 500KHZ SOP-8

Bypass caps, pull-ups, strapping resistors, custom silkscreen & more
Design a Custom BoardFixed-frequency current-mode PWM controller designed for offline and DC-DC converter applications. Integrates trimmed oscillator, temperature-compensated reference, error amplifier, current-sensing comparator, and high-current totem-pole output (1A) for MOSFET gate driving. Features undervoltage lockout with hysteresis, low startup current (0.5mA), and operates up to 500kHz with minimal external components.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
