IC TRANSCEIVER 2/0 8SOIC RS232

Bypass caps, pull-ups, strapping resistors, custom silkscreen & more
Design a Custom BoardDual-channel RS-232 line driver and receiver IC in 8-pin SOIC package. Converts between TTL/CMOS logic levels and RS-232 voltage levels (±12V typically). Commonly used for serial communication interfaces in microcontroller and FPGA applications, providing robust signal conditioning for longer-distance RS-232 communication over standard serial cables.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
