IC REG LINEAR 5V 100MA 8-SOIC

Bypass caps, pull-ups, strapping resistors, custom silkscreen & more
Design a Custom BoardFixed positive voltage regulator IC delivering regulated 5V output at up to 100mA load current. Features internal thermal shutdown and current limiting protection. Commonly used in battery-powered equipment, microcontroller circuits, and low-power analog applications requiring stable 5V supply from higher input voltages.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
